Responsibilities:

  • Project Monitoring: Oversee all project activities and progress, ensuring a Rights-Based Approach and strengthening municipality capacities.

  • Monitoring Tools Development: Develop monitoring checklists and participatory monitoring tools, maintaining compliance with program regulations.

  • Needs Assessment: Assess project activities to identify WASH-related needs and rights of disabled, marginalized, and socially excluded people, while promoting gender equality.

  • Reporting: Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports using MIS and analytical narrative reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Program Alignment: Monitor and recommend program planning, inputs, and targets, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and M&E indicators.

  • Evaluation: Evaluate qualitative and quantitative achievements against targets, providing insights into program effectiveness.

  • Research and Surveys: Conduct research, baseline surveys, and fact-finding missions, preparing assessment questionnaires to inform project interventions.

  • Dissemination: Organize seminars, workshops, training sessions, and dialogues to disseminate research findings and share best practices.

  • Lesson Learning: Identify lessons learned and document good practices to contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

  • Case Study Preparation: Prepare case studies and carry out process documentation of the project to capture key learnings and achievements.

  • Capacity Development: Conduct capacity development training for staff, municipality, and other stakeholders to enhance project implementation skills.
